Up again this morning at 5:25 a.m. but not asleep until 11:30 p.m. last night. My FMS already greatly reduces the quality of my sleep, losing actual hours of sleep is to much! This better not be setting a precedence, not a happy camper as it is! 😡
What is it with sharks lately, this is the second story I’ve stumbled on recently. At least this one happened while the people were safely on a pier above the water… although these nut-cases went out in a little boat trying to find the stupid this again. Had that shark jumped out of the water when I was anywhere hear it I would have needed a change on underwear immediately! LOL
I must admit that when I read the announcement for The Amazing Spider-Man that I thought it was far to soon from Spider-Man 3 to reboot the franchise. However, the more I see and read of this new film, th more I want to see it. Besides, Sally Fields is in it and Andrew Garfield is adorable 😉
Let’s not kid ourselves here – the end result is going to be The Amazing Spider-Man is the better film. We’ve already had two of our reviewers say as much. However a shift in attitude occurred when this new franchise was announced – suddenly people hated the Raimi trilogy. “Finally,” the people were saying. “Somebody is going to do this right”. That whole ‘Untold Story’ tag line always got on my nerves because it’s a story that’s been told multiple times.
Was it done so poorly to begin with? Spider-Man and its immediate sequel were massive hits both in cinemas and on home systems, and became the benchmark that all comic books films were compared to. Sure, it was goofy but so is the source material. Spider-Man is like Superman in that he’s one of the few characters to retain the spirit of the early days of serial comics…

I saw this story on the evening news last night and wanted to share it this morning. If I were this guy I would not have had to worry about the shark sinking my kayak, I would have instantly filled the damned thing with my own urine upon seeing the beast in the water behind me!
I am so excited for the release of this tablet! Sucks we have to wait until October to get to see one in stores and take it for a rest run but if I am to have one myself, it would have to wait until tax time anyway. 🙂
Up an hour and a half early this morning with a panic attack and FMS pain throughout my back. Isabella thinks that since I’m up I may as well be feeding the cat and is practically climbing up my ass to get my attention to the fact that she will expire in precisely 30 seconds if she does not receive nourishment, the joys of having a cat. 😉
This post is in a different language but the imagery is stunning! Fall and its beautiful colors was the one thing I consistently missed during my five years in Orlando. 🙂
